Dogs, Duck Calls, and T-shirts

Hello, it's Friday and what a beautiful fall day it is for the month of November, and guess what? It is duck season.
My son Wade, took his big sister Sarah duck hunting recently. This was her first time to duck hunt, and looking at the picture, she had a great time. She also shot her first duck!
Duck Hunting--It's the thrill of the hunt, the thrill of the kill, and the taste of fried, smoked, or baked duck delighting taste-buds that keep them going back for more.
Now this might sound cruel to some, hiding behind tall grass in camo with a shotgun, baiting the water with decoys, blowing on a duck call, and watching the sky for the next victims to arrive.
Gently and gracefully they (the ducks) swoop down and land onto the water, and for some, well, they don't land so gracefully, but by now I think you get the picture.
I'm sure you've heard the saying, "If it flies, it dies."
This is what duck hunting is all about. Having fun with friends, spending time with family, and creating memories to one day reminisce.
And by the way, if you've never tried duck, you need to. It is surprisingly delicious.
