Five Ways to Ease Anxiety

Are you anxious about something?  Do you worry too much? With all the things going on in life, it is hard not to worry or be anxious about something.  In this podcast, I break down a familiar scripture in the bible that will help you ease your anxiety.  

God tells us to not worry or be anxious about anything and then gives us instructions on how to accomplish it.  It can be done because God said so in His word.  

Here is the scripture I am referring to:

Philippians 4:6-8 NKJV

Be Anxious for Nothing; Think These Thoughts

(6)Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Meditate on These Things

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. 

You can be free from worry and anxiety.  Here are five ways:

  1. Do Not Worry (it is possible)
  2. Trust God (having faith simply means you trust Him)
  3. Believe You Receive (believing in those things not seen)
  4. Give Thanks (give thanks with a grateful and sincere heart)
  5. Watch Your Words (speak words that bring life)

If God cares to feed the sparrows then how much more does He care for you. He is your Heavenly Father and loves you unconditionally. 

Don't worry my friend.  God is waiting for you to ask Him for help and is able to help you through difficult situations.
