Keep Christ in Christmas

Dec 29, 2017

I'm a Christian, I'm not ashamed, and I will keep Christ in my Christmas.

Listen on Soundcloud:

Wouldn't you agree that our society has lost its mind! It seems as though things have gotten too far to the left and people are becoming more and more selfish and self-centered.

It saddens my heart to see selfish and self-centered people, and even the worse, those people are raising their children to be the same way.

The world has turned into one big selfie.

News flash:  The world doesn't revolve around you and you're not that important.

OH, my goodness you say, but I am important!

Yes, your life is important, but more importantly, it's how you use it as a representative for Christ to help others and make a difference.

Notice the word in representative.

Your life is a result of a present, an unselfish act of love Christ gave to you when He died on the cross for your sins. He gave, and because of His giving, you can receive.

His giving made it possible for you to receive freedom from the bondage and chains of this world. His gift made it possible for you to live a victorious life in a world that is full of sin and moral decay.

Did He have to do it? No, but because of God's mercy and grace and never-ending love for us He did, and I am so thankful.

Did we deserve it? No.

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;  Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. Romans 3:23-24

We have all fallen short but God's grace is sufficient and His mercies endure forever.

O give thanks to the Lord of lords: for his mercy endureth forever.
Psalm 136:3

We have all been on the naughty list and have probably been X'd off some Christmas lists, but love always prevails. It is always giving and kind and unselfish. Love sees past wrongdoings and gives anyway. It forgives and forgets.

Forgiveness is the gift that keeps on giving.

I wonder what the world would be today if we hadn't been given the gift of mercy? If Christ "X'd" us off His list, forgot about us and left us on the naughty list.

I believe and know none of us would be where we are today. Although the world is full of evil and wickedness, the gift Christ gave to us was wrapped in hope and sealed with His everlasting and precious promises.

Christ has given us a hope and a future. He forgave us of our sins.

We are created in His image and the spirit of giving should be the same in us as it is in Him.

In this Christmas season, as you give gifts to others, don't forget the ultimate gift that Christ gave...the gift of forgiveness and freedom. The gift of eternal life.

Will you receive His gift or "X" Him out of your life?

Keep Christ in your Christmas.

Love and Hugs.

Lord, help me to receive Your love and forgiveness in its entirety. Open the eyes of my heart to understand the gift of mercy and grace You have given and continually give. Thank you for forgiving me of my sins and giving me the gift of life. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Princess Beauty Tip:
In order to be a better giver, you must first have the heart to give. It is more blessed to give than to receive.’

I am forgiven. Jesus loves me and His mercies endureth forever.
